We are a community of 281 homes between the streets of 99th Ter and 101st St and between Antioch Rd and England Dr in Overland Park, KS.
Schedule of Events:
January - Annual letter including current year dues calculation is mailed/emailed (01/20/24)
February - Annual Meeting (02/20/24 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Legacy Christian Church 10150 Antioch Rd Overland Park, KS 66212)
March - Pay by 03/31 and take the available discount ($215.00 if paid by 03/31/24)
April - Dues owed 04/01 ($250.00 if paid after 03/31/24)
May - Individual Statements mailed to all properties not current
June - Annual Garage Sale is first Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (06/06/24 - 06/08/24). In case of inclement weather, use the following week
September - Bulky pickup (09/18/24)
Helpful Info:
DUES : Regency Park HOA dues are currently $250.00 per year (changes to $400.00 per year starting 2025). This covers the April through March timeframe. Interest begins accruing in June at 8% per annum. Those properties more than one year in arrears risk suspended trash pickup, being sent to collections, and/or having a lien placed on their property.
TRASH : Biggest benefit of our HOA - We cover your trash! ……….TRASH HAULER CHANGE……….Our contract with Republic Services ends December 2024. Final emptying of Republic Service trash and recycling bins will be Friday 12/27/24 (Thursday pickup delayed due to Christmas). Republic Service bins should be not be used afterwards. Republic Services trash and recycling bins should be placed at the curb for removal on Tuesday 01/07/25.
GFL Environmental will be our new trash hauler for 2025 forward. GFL trash and recycling bins should be delivered 12/27/24 or 12/28/24. Pickup will move to FRIDAYS. A one day delay will be in effect if one of 4 holidays fall on a Monday through Friday (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). First pickup will be Saturday 01/04/25 (Friday pickup delayed due to New Years). Collection hours are typically 7am - 6pm. If you have a problem with your weekly pickup, please call GFL at 816-380-5595.
TRASH - Must be inside 65 gallon bin
RECYCLING - Recyclable items include newspaper, magazines, phone books, catalogs, junk mail, envelopes, file folders, computer paper, construction paper, colored paper, flattened corrugated cardboard boxes, cereal and soda/beer boxes, gift boxes, wrapping paper, aluminum cans, aluminum foil, plastic bottles, jugs, metal cans, buckets, and other plastic containers. Recyclable items DO NOT INCLUDE glass, plastic bags, and Styrofoam. Excess recyclable material can be placed adjacent to the cart in boxes or rigid containers. Bagged recyclables will not be collected.
YARD WASTE - GFL will collect up to 10 paper yard waste bags (grass clippings, leaves, loose vegetation, small limbs, and branches) or bundles (limbs/branches must not be more than 18 inches in diameter, four feet in length, less than 40 pounds, and tied with twine) once a week on Fridays between March 1 through November 30. No yard waste pickup will occur in December, January, or February. Yard waste will not be picked up in plastic bags, trash cans, or rigid containers.
BULKY PICKUP - You are allowed ONE complementary bulk item pickup per year per City of Overland Park regulations. YOU are responsible for calling 816-380-5595 or emailing kccustomercare@gflenv.com to be placed on the pickup schedule. GFL will collect more items on your behalf (either at the same time as your complementary one item or at a different time later in the year) at a cost of $50.00 per item which you would have to pay when you schedule pickup. Bulk items accepted are readily moved by two people including mattresses, couches, box springs, chairs, dressers, desks, doors, windows, and other household furniture.
